Muscletime was on location for the filming of Lou Ferrigno's scene in the movie "I Love You, Man" starring Jason Segal, Paul Rudd and Jaime Pressly. The movie is directed by John Hamburg whose recent directorial efforts include Along Came Polly (2004) and Safe Men (1998). Ferrigno has a small role in the $45 million production in which he stars as himself. Jason Segal's character repeatedly taunts him ("I'm not afraid of the Incredible Hulk!") and finally throws a punch at Big Lou only to be promptly taken down and neutralized by Lou Ferrigno. The obscenity-laden scene takes place at the Delizia Cafe on Ocean Front Walk at Venice Beach; the scene was filmed again and again all day long.

The movie is about a recently engaged man (Paul Rudd) seeking the perfect "best man" for his wedding. When his fiancée starts to invite all her friends to the wedding (including Jaime Pressly), Rudd sadly realizes that he doesn't have any friends and, most importantly, no one to serve as the "best man" at his wedding. So, he goes on a series of "man dates" in search the perfect platonic relationship. His search of "man love" leads him to decide on Jason Segal as his best man. Segal proves his devotion to Rudd when he sticks up for his friend by taking on Ferrigno (even though he is no match for the Incredible Hulk).

Lou Ferrigno was accompanied on the set by his wife, Carla Ferrigno, and his son, Brent Ferrigno. Muscletime originally streamed exclusive live video from the set; these video streams can be viewed at Qik: Lou Ferrigno confronted by Jason Segal; Lou Ferrigno and Carla Ferrigno during lunch break.

Legendary bodybuilder and Mr. Universe Lou Ferrigno is best known among bodybuilding fans for his battle with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the bodybuilding movie Pumping Iron (1977). Ferrigno became a household name to mainstream American starring as the alter ego of scientist David Banner in the television series "The Incredible Hulk." He has since appeared in several movies. He had a recurring role in the television sitcom "The King of Queens." Most recently, Lou Ferrigno had a cameo role as a security guard (along with Marvel Comics Stan Lee) in Ang Lee's Hulk (2003); he also has a cameo in this year's The Incredible Hulk (2008) by director Louis Leterrier although Ferrigno has been tight-lipped about the role.

You will be able to see Lou Ferrigno in "The Incredible Hulk" on June 13, 2008. You will have to wait until January 19, 2009 to see Ferrigno's cameo in "I Love You, Man."
